Annual MCS Student/Faculty Lunch

Dear MCS Majors:

To those who are new to the student-faculty lunch event series. This is an annual event that takes place at the Faculty Club during the 12-1:15PM lunch hour. There are between 2-4 students (no more than 5 students) per faculty member.

We have received wonderful feedback from students who valued the interaction with the faculty, but who also benefited from comments and questions of their peers.  Most of the participating faculty members themselves have taken the opportunity to report back to us on the enthusiasm and talent of our MCS majors. We hope that you are able to participate this year.

Instructions/Guidelines:

These arrangements will be made on a first-come basis. Dates and times of MCS Advisory faculty members:

In order to participate you will submit the lunch ***RSVP (google form) ***with your first, second and/or third choice. You must only indicate your preferences if you are able to attend the date that they’ve provided. If you have no preference of faculty, you may choose to select chose a department instead.

***Please RSVP by Thursday, February 21st***

Please arrive promptly in the lobby at the Faculty Club by 11:45am.

I will send your group a friendly email reminder regarding the lunch event the Monday of that week.


Please be advised:

Students will be confirmed for one lunch only.

If you are running more than 15 minutes late, sorry but you will forfeit your lunch appointment.

If your chosen date(s) is postponed, we will let you know.

If you must cancel, please let us know 1 day in advance.
