Hi, my name is Joyce! I'm a Senior from London, England studying MCS with a minor in Creative Writing. I'm interested in multimodal AI, social impact applications of AI/ML, and data journalism. Recently, I've been doing research in the AI for Climate Change bootcamp, and I also sit on the Board for The Stanford Daily. Over the past few summers, I was a machine learning engineer, a researcher in the Human Computer Interaction group (CURIS) and an investment intern at a hedge fund. Hi friends! I'm Sophia, a senior from Southern California, right by Disneyland! I am majoring in Data Science and Social Systems on the Education pathway with a minor in Education. This past summer—and currently—I am interning at a semiconductor manufacturing and wafer inspection company, conducting survival analysis and developing efficient machine learning systems for cost of service predictions. Beyond the classroom, I can often be found upcycling thrift finds or dancing with friends. A couple of years ago, I was a Stanford Dollie! Hey everyone! My name is Catherine and I am a senior studying MCS from Los Angeles, CA. I love how the MCS/Data Science program teaches technical skills across disciplines to provide multiple approaches on how to answer big questions with data. Personally, I’m interested in using data science to solve problems in climate and environmental science. Outside of school, I love hiking, skiing, running, live music, and good food. Heyo, I'm a senior from Seattle in the Data Science & Social Systems major doing my own individualized pathway (political-social behavior analysis)! I love applying data science to social sciences, particularly elections and politics. At Stanford, I'm an MS&E Coterm, MS&E research assistant, RA, and Stanford in Washington student. Professionally, I've done data science in many organizations including political campaigns, consulting firms, research labs, data journalism, and my own freelance consulting. Hi, I'm Eric! I'm a senior from the Bay Area majoring in Mathematical and Computational Science, with a coterminal degree in Computer Science. I'm passionate about the entire process of building great products—whether it's solving complex logic problems, analyzing data, or developing algorithms. My experience includes undergraduate research in the CS department, scaling a Series A startup, and product management internships at Tesla. I am interested in researching data privacy and the consequences of technology’s influence on our world. After studying abroad and interning in Berlin, I decided to minor in German Studies to connect with my German heritage.
