Post-Graduation Plans

Commencement 2017 - graduates wave Stanford flags

We are commonly asked where our students who majored in Mathematical & Computational Science go post-graduation.

A large majority of students add a coterm master's degree in either Statistics, Management Science & Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Informatics, or Computational & Mathematical Engineering

And many more enter the workforce following graduation in data science, actuarial science, finance, risk management, consulting, and product management.  Several of our recent students have even embraced the entrepreneurial spirit fostered here in the San Francisco Bay Area and have started their own companies! Below there is data on our most recent cohorts.
